Sunshine

So God, can I just thank you once again for reminding me continually that my ways are not your ways, and that  my thoughts are not your thoughts? Miss panic-stricken-drama-queen over her can breathe now because she remembers her Daddy has a grip on every possibilty. Spring has been here for days now, and the sunshine is gorgeous! I think You’re teaching me how to dance in the margins… it’s a good place to be.

Sunrise Dance

The sky is fashioning my favorite shade of blue,  but  its getting  colder…and the wind makes everything feel darkening and judgemental.  The sun did shine today though, smiling upon those who woke to its greeting.

I haven’t posted anything on here in a while, but there isn’t much to say when there aren’t any words worth speaking. However,  I’ve been far from silent.  “Pursue what captures your heart”…ahh I think they’re right.

Two months untill the dance competition is when I decide to throw away every idea and plan and start from scratch. Inspiration comes at its own time,  but I don’t think inspiration knows the meaning of time.  We could all learn from this simple tactic…don’t you think?

Brilliance my friend, is in the eye of the beholder. He thought I was crazy for changing everything I held dear, but it wasn’t that dear to me in the first place. Dropping and running to something more relevant adds  more color to life.  Isn’t that what we aim for in passion?

Ahh, thats what I love about this art form…everything is expressed through progressions, never staying in one place for very long.  Each performance lives its own life, under harsh  lights, starred down by watchful eyes, feeding off the adrenaline high…take it in and fly.
