Road Trip!

I’m home. **big sigh of contentment and relief!**

It has been a busy month. Been on the road a lot lately, but I’m not complaining…its been a blast! Last weekend was a trip to Wautoma with Seth and Alex to play music there for friends and family…its always so good to go down there and see those people.

And 3 days later was the trip to Milwaukee…

On the road again!!

We got lost…are you surprised? But it wasn’t our faults! Construction is a pain. We found our hotel and off to the rave it we went to see our friends play on St. Patrick’s day! Every thing was all fine and dandy until it was time to get shamrock shakes. We go to the drive-thru, and here comes the  high  homeless solicitor…stumbling towards our car!!!!! After locking the door about 20 times (gotta be sure ya know…) and yelling our orders through a cracked window, we made it out safely with our st. patty’s day shakes and lots of nervous laughter. Poor guy, it wasn’t just us he was doing it to, it was every car…and the police came and handled the situation.  Thank God I live in the U.P.!!

Speaking of which, our ride home was golden. We stopped by Lake Michigan a few times, just because we could.

There were seashells…we picked lots of them.

It was wonderful. Not to mention catching up with a good friend over breakfast, coffee, and lots of laughter.

But now its time for rest.
